Cheers to the bride and groom

Giving a toast is an important tradition for a wedding. These can come in all shapes and sizes. And they aren't just for the best man anymore.

Often the Maid of Honor or the Bride's father give a toast in addition to the groom. But, really anyone can. Just be sure to let your venue know that if you don't want an open mic night, to take the microphone away before Aunt Fran starts talking about your most embarrassing moments.

Also, a toast doesn't have to be champagne. This can get expensive depending on your wedding size. You could always do a sparkling cider. This is also choice for people wishing to have a dry wedding.

Lastly, if you are getting married on the beach, I would say that margaritas, mojitios, or pina colodas would be a great choice.
